AbstractThe co-evolution between technologies and institutions is one of the most promising research area in evolutionary economics. This paper attempts to make a little progress in this area. After establishing the framework of co-evolution between technology and institution, we extend the replicator dynamics model to cover the technology innovation, which depicting the evolution of technology in the firm, and analyze the impact which institutions as shared learning rules has on R&D investing rules , which influence the fitness of firm and technology. We analyze the co-evolution on the industry level, and do the simulation the analyze the co-evolution and the industry efficiency.
