Abstract | This paper investigates the spatial autocorrelation,location-correlation and agglomeration of increment of GDP per capita in 2136 county between 1999 and 2010. After analyzing empirically the spatial effects with the combined model of spatial empirics and trend-surface,we find that the distribution of the increment of China’s GDP per capita shows the combined effects of spatial-dependence,location and initial level. The East and West all display the regional policy effects, which promote the convergence of regional development gaps and prove the effect of rising strategy in central region is not significant. To further promote coordinated regional development,it is yet for us to continue in-being regional policies and take the Large Southwest strategy as priority in China’s future development strategy. |
