                           Notice on the 2nd “China Youth Economist Forum Excellent Paper Award” Selection
About 30 years since reform and opening up policy, China’s economic research has been blooming with its economy. In the process of opening up, China’s economic research has narrowed the disparity with foreign research through introduction, digestion, absorption and innovation. Our youth economists contribute a lot to forming such a happy situation. The“China Youth Economists Forum” also contributes with 11-year efforts. One of the aims of the forum is to provide our youth economists a learning and developing platform. Through this platform, researchers can exchange experience, communicate thoughts and come up with creative ideas. The 12th forum will be held in late September, 2012 in Nankai University, till when the forum would have been held successfully for 11 years. With the experience of the first Excellent Paper Award selection, we will continue to hold the 2nd “China Youth Economist Forum Excellent Paper Award” selection and award the papers at the opening ceremony of the forum.

Relevant matters are as follows:
Selection range: Papers that were once selected in the past 10 year’s “China Youth Economist Forum” (2001-2011), and were published in publically issued academic journals (including foreign journals) before the deadline of application date and didn’t get the Excellent Paper Award in the 1st selection.
Selection amount: 2 or 3 pieces of paper
