“China Youth Economists Forum” has been successfully held for 11 years. It aims to promote the research activities of our youth economists, to strengthen their communication and foster follow-up force for China’s economic research, to better serve our economy development and reform. After discussion, the 12th “China Youth Economists Forum” will be held in late September, 2012 in Nankai University. The organizers are Economic Research Journal, Guanghua School of Management of Pecking University, Institute of Advanced Study at Wuhan University and school of economics of Naikai University. We are now starting a nationwide call for paper. Any contributed pieces should have a Chinese youth economist, who is younger than 45 years old (Born after September 30, 1967) as the first author. The forum organizers have set up a special academic committee to review all the papers collected. Once the paper is selected, the authors will be invited as official representatives of the forum, and the excellent papers will be recommended to anonymous referees of Economic Research Journal. Under the guidance of the academic committee, about 13 papers will be finally chosen and edited into Economic Research Journal: Special issue for Youth Forum and it will be published before December 2012. The forum encourages papers analyzing real economic problems with modern economics theories and empirical methods. Papers of great theoretical and practical significance of our country’s development and reform are preferred. We are honored to have your participation.
