Abstract:In recent years,Chinas money market has experienced a rapid development demonstrated by persistent increase in the variety of assets traded, scale of transaction and number of market participants. With the development of the money market, indirect control of the central bank through monetary policy has been becoming more and more effective. However, the development of Chinas money market is still at its initial stage. The instruments available for trading are relatively limited, the market is somewhat segmented, and the scale of transaction is small.Furthermore, due to the control of the interest rates of deposits and loans, change in the interest rates of the money market has a weak impact on the credit market and other financial markets. This paper analyzes the basic structure and development of various sub-markets of Chinas money market.Special attentions are paid to the interactions among these sub-markets in the view of the central banks monetary control. |

• The Characteristics of Property Right and Industrial Orientation |
Abstract:The scholars have assumed that there is an uniform property right structure in their former studies. However,in fact, there are two different kinds of property right structures in social economy. One is public property right, and the other is private property right. They apply to different industries.Generally speaking, the private property right structure applies to those competitive and profit industries, and the public property right structure applies to those non-competitive and non-profit industries. Therefore,in this article, the author holds that the Chinese state-owned enterprises are mainly faced with both some disorder property right structures and some disorder industry structures rather than unclear property right. In other words, the author believes that those competitive and profit industries,to which property right should have adapted inappropriately taken the structures of public property right. So,the key problem facing the Chinese state-owned enterprise reform is that the industry orientation has to be kept identical with property right structures. |
